Clean and safe storage of lubricants is essential to prevent contamination and quality loss. By carefully handling storage, cleaning and labeling, lubricant performance remains optimal and contamination risks are minimized. The following guidelines help organize a safe, hygienic and efficient storage environment for lubricants.

- A clean, organized storage area minimizes the risk of contamination.
- Regularly check whether dirt, sand, dust or moisture can get near the lubricants.
- Identify improvement points, document situations with photos and clearly indicate what the correct and incorrect methods are.
- Move lubricants directly to storage after receipt and place them in the correct location according to the coding.
- Use clear labels or stickers with the product name or code for identification.
- Clean the lid of the packaging before opening: use a soft brush and wipe afterwards with a lint-free, clean cloth.
- Never rinse the lid with water.
- Only open sealed packages at the moment of use.
- Ensure drums are never stored outside, so they are not exposed to rain or snow.
- Store lubricants at a constant temperature of approximately +20°C.
