Shell PANOLIN S4 HLP Synth E
Shell PANOLIN S4 HLP Synth EAL is a high-performance hydraulic lubricant developed for demanding applications and designed to deliver reliable performance under challenging operating conditions.
This oil performs excellently under extreme pressure. It offers optimum protection against friction and wear and is suitable for both fixed and mobile hydraulic systems for earthmoving and forestry, the machine industry, the construction industry and hydro-electrical engineering, among others.
In addition, Shell PANOLIN S4 HLP Synth E is ideally suited for compressors, bearing lubrication and oil circulation systems, as well as for hydraulic systems on ships, such as CPP, stabilisers, steering gear and deck equipment. In short, this specific oil is excellent for a wide range of applications.
What is an EAL?
An Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) is a lubricant developed for applications where environmental requirements play an important role, particularly where incidental leakage into soil or water cannot be completely avoided.
The assessment of EALs takes various factors into account, including biodegradability, ecotoxicity, bioaccumulation and technical performance. In addition, specific products may meet recognised standards and certifications such as EU Ecolabel requirements, ISO 15380 and other applicable marine regulations and industry standards.
Within the Shell PANOLIN portfolio, a range of products has been developed for applications where high technical performance must be combined with specific environmental requirements.
