That is why we are constantly looking ahead, immersing ourselves in new developments, and consciously scrutinizing our own way of working. Consider, for example, our focus on the environment and the health and safety of both our customers and our own employees. What is already going well? And where can we still improve?
We are actively involved in various industry organizations to stay up to date with the latest developments in the sectors in which we operate. We are driven by the ambition and conviction to help improve products and/or processes. Various external auditors visit us every year. This helps us to remain focused on the details.
At the company level, Van Meeuwen has
the following certifications:
ISO 9001
Our quality management system ensures that we are well organized.
ISO 22000
Van Meeuwen handles its food-grade products and processes in accordance with the food safety guidelines of this ISO standard.
VCA
Structural focus on occupational safety and the environment. All our Lubrication Technicians are personally VCA certified. In addition, Van Meeuwen Services is VCA* 2008/5.1 certified in both the Netherlands and Belgium.
At the individual and product level:
H1 registration
Our H1 food-safe lubricants are NSF or 2Probity registered. Both NSF and 2Probity are independent accredited parties, so it does not matter whether a product is registered by NSF or 2Probity. The most important thing is that the lubricant or cleaning agent is H1-registered for use in a production area where food safety must be guaranteed. They test whether the formulation of a food-safe lubricant complies with US FDA 21 CFR 1783570 regulations.
REACH legislation EU 1907/2006
In close cooperation with our suppliers, we support the REACH legislation EU 1907/2006 (the EU regulation adopted to better protect human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemical substances).
SKAL
SKAL Biocontrol is the supervisory authority responsible for the inspection and certification of organic companies in the Netherlands. Our FOODCARE® ANTIFOAM BIO is a food-safe anti-foaming agent that is biodegradable and SKAL-registered.
FiBl
This recognition demonstrates that our products can be used safely and effectively within the organic sector. With this recognition from FiBL, our products meet scientifically based criteria for sustainability and organic suitability.
