You make the difference, together with the team
As an Account Manager, you will work closely with colleagues in the office and in the field to successfully deploy our additives for both existing and new customers. After a thorough induction period at the office, you will increasingly be out in the field, further expanding your knowledge in areas such as food safety.
You will become the go-to technical expert for customers, colleagues and agents. You will advise (potential) customers, supervise test processes and actively contribute ideas on commercial, technical and QA challenges. Initially, you will focus on customers in the Netherlands, but over time, you will expand your field of work to include other countries.
In addition, you will play an active role in the growth of our organisation, stimulating cross-selling and upselling, building new customer relationships, and representing Van Meeuwen at trade fairs and events both domestically and internationally.
What are you bringing with you?
- A higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking and a qualification in a commercial, technical or chemical field;
- Several years of work experience in a similar technical commercial field service position, where you have been successful in both new business development and relationship management;
- A strong command of spoken and written Dutch and English;
- An interest in chemistry, QA, food safety and production processes;
- Intrinsic motivation and curiosity to figure things out and get things done;
- A flexible, proactive, driven attitude, and you are a dependable discussion partner at various levels.

Een uitdagende, afwisselende, commerciële fulltime baan (4 dagen per week is bespreekbaar) binnen een gezellig, gedreven en professioneel team, waarin jij echt het verschil kunt maken voor onze klanten en de verdere groei van Van Meeuwen!
Naast een passend salaris afgestemd op je opleidingsniveau, kennis en werkervaring, uitzicht op een vast dienstverband en natuurlijk 8% vakantiegeld, krijg je bij ons:
- 29 vakantiedagen en bij geen ziekte 2 extra vakantiedagen;
- € 120,- netto onkostenvergoeding per maand;
- € 20,- netto internetvergoeding per maand;
- Auto, laptop en mobiele telefoon;
- 13de maand;
- Long Term Incentive: gedurende 4 jaar bouw je per jaar € 1.500 op (mits langer dan 1 jaar in dienst en bij goed functioneren);
- Collectieve pensioenregeling NN & WGA-verzekering (WGA-premie 50% voor werkgever);
- Eindejaarsbonus: afhankelijk van het bedrijfsresultaat, behaalde omzet en persoonlijke inzet, projecten, motivatie, mentaliteit, flexibiliteit, loyaliteit, functioneren, etc.;
- Flexibele werktijden die afgestemd kunnen worden met de manager;
- In overleg en na het inwerktraject de mogelijkheid om deels vanuit huis te werken
