Why is ABM so important?
Implementing the General Assessment Methodology (ABM) is an important step in Dutch water policy for determining the water harmfulness of substances and mixtures.
These are substances that companies use and ultimately discharge via waste water. The ABM is the designated information document for assessing a permit application. Van Meeuwen Additives lists the ABM category for its anti-foam products in section 15.1 of the MSDS, many of which fall into a favourable B(4) category.
