Why do we do what we do?

At Van Meeuwen, we bring more than 90 years of history and experience with us. We are proud of that, but what really counts is the passion that our colleagues show, today and tomorrow. Our customers notice the difference that our service, expertise and high quality products make. We go in-depth into an area that often doesn’t make the top of the priority list. That is precisely why it is important to us, because together we can make a real impact. That engagement gives peace of mind and trust. That is our strength. You can count on us.

Two specialities, almost 100 colleagues

At Van Meeuwen, everything around industrial lubrication falls under Lubrication. Our process additives are bundled under Additives.

In both disciplines, we focus on the details that ultimately make the difference. By sharing knowledge actively – both internally and externally – we constantly stimulate development. We aim to invest in people who want to commit to Van Meeuwen for the longer term. Big enough to grow and innovate sustainably, small enough for personal contact.

Our vision

More impact with less. It might sound simple, but it takes dedication, skill and passion to really make this happen. We achieve concrete results in close collaboration with our customers: less fuss, less lost time and less product consumed. What comes out of that? A reliable process and an end product to be proud of.

Rogier has been part of the team since 2010 and has held final responsibility as of 2018. He looks ahead to the future with a lot of energy and passion, putting customer focus first. We keep developing by investing in smart services and good products.

Frank van Meeuwen

Chair of the Advisory Board

Frank joined the organisation’s sales team in 1975, and he has been leading the company together with Piet Steenaard since the end of the 1970s. Now with more than 50 yours of involvement, great passion for service and quality, Frank still gives useful advice where needed.

Han van Meeuwen

Founder

Van Meeuwen Industries

In 1934, Han established the company Van Meeuwen’s Smeerolie Industrie De Drie Tonnen [The Three Barrels], in Amsterdam. The three barrels represented oil, grease and tar products. In the 1950s, he first made contact with innovative American partners by telegram.
